I should be on the road, again, Sunday morning. I am surprised at how difficult it is to leave Austin, Texas. As Odysseus on the island of Circe: "... so that in love and sleep we may learn to trust one another."
Who would have guessed that one of the most dangerous things to chance upon in the course of my journey was a place that I did not want to leave. Saturday I plan to cook dinner for the sister's family, and the neighbors from Brazil. Then I pack, and roll...
My (tentative) route is as follows: 71 to 87 87 (180/137) to 380 380 to Roswell, New Mexico.
